Overview
Thoth was an ancient AI of the S'pht. In Marathon 2: Durandal, Durandal sought to activate Thoth so that he could contact the S'pht'Kr and defeat the Pfhor.
According to Durandal, Thoth was concerned only with "maintaining the balance between creation and destruction, yes and no, light and darkness, not the triumph of one over the other."[1]
