Project Goliath, often abbreviated to PROGO, was a Unified Earth Space Council(UESC) initiative to investigate the loss of communications between the Tau Ceti colony and the UESC Marathon, and Sol.[1] The UESC Equanimity was eventually sent to Tau Ceti under Goliath.[1]

Conception
Coinciding with the Pfhor attack on the New Cascadia colony on Tau Ceti IV, communications were lost between with Earth. Fearing anti-UESC groups had taken action or one of the AIs going rampant, the UESC began drafting plans to re-establish contact with the colony and cement order.
