Traxus OffWorld Industries was a megacorporation headquartered on Mars. Founded on Earth in 2095, Traxus underwent a series of evolutions along its course to become a leading manufacturer, mineral extractor and shipping leader[1]. As of 2888, the company had begun probing for intel regarding Project Goliath and deploying Runners to uncover what happened to the Tau Ceti IV colony, and the disappearance of the UESC Marathon.

Founding & Initial Years[edit]
Traxus Intelligent Systems was founded in 2095 with the goal to, "create an entity that could pierce the veil of the cosmos and unlock the enigmatic secrets that lay hidden in the celestial abyss"[1]. The companymigrated to Mars in 2145, under the new name: Traxus Interplanetary Corporation, and refocused itself to the resource extraction and mining sectors. [1]
Crash of Traxus IV[edit]
In 2206, 5 of the AIs within the Martian Net were infiltrated by the Rampant AI, Traxus IV. The event would subsequently be known as the Crash of Traxus IV. The situation was resolved when the Martian Planetary Net was shut down. The damage Traxus IV had done would slowly be unraveled over the course of the next 2 years. Though the consequences of this event would continue to be felt for the next decade.[2]
Solar Transport Dominion[edit]
In the 2400s, the company underwent a diametric shift. Under Traxus OffWorld Industries, the CRIST Solar Orbiters were revitalized and renamed: Traxus OffWorld Solar Orbiters. During this period, it is claimed that Traxus "Freed Mars" [3]
Project Goliath Complications[edit]
With the breaching of United Shipping and the leak of Project Goliath, Traxus leadership began conspiring how best to handle the situation. In-house and Freelance netcrawlers were deployed to get access to United's data. Initially covert and risque, the entire situation slowly became a powder keg. MIDA and the Runners gained access to Traxus leadership's chatrooms and began following their leads deeper into the conspiracy. [3]
As the entire Project Goliath file was leaked, talks with the UESC stalled overnight, and Traxus began pursuing its own independent presence on Tau Ceti IV. [3]
